Adelaide United 0 - Newcastle 2  Adelaide United FC has suffered another home defeat after going down 2-nil to the Newcastle Jets at Hindmarsh Stadium tonight. Jets captain Matt Thompson striking on the stroke of half time before a second half penalty from Song Jin-Hyung gave Newcastle all three points and kept the Reds at the bottom of the a-league table .. 05/12/2009: Australia have drawn Germany, Ghana and Serbia in Group D, which is a tough group but perhaps not the group of death. Second round crossover contains England. We play Germany in Durban on 13 June, Ghana in Rustenberg on the 19 June, and Serbia in Nelspruit on 23 June. A-League: Round 17
