AFC Champions League - 2009
Central Coast Mariners 0 - Tianjin Teda 1

19/05/2009

The last game of the Mariners ended their tilt at the Asian Football Confederation's Champions League, much as the whole campaign had gone - hope, effort, but non-delivery, and farce. The result, a 0-1 loss at home versus Tianjin Teda was really neither here nor there as it was a wasted campaign; and the Mariners have more rebuilding to do than they acknowledge!
